Hey guy’s I am finally back from Maryland and back in the heat wave here in Florida.. Whew it’s 90 in the shade so I guess I have to put on my thong and do some topless sunbathing again (I am sure the neighbors HATE that. LOL). Some GREAT news, the update for tomorrow is up TODAY so go and CHECK IT OUT NOW MEMBERS… Not a Member? Why the heck not? Join today!
The update contains a BIG set of pictures and 3 new video clips and the OTHER news is that if my schedule permits and V can get it set up we will hopefully be surprising the members with a chat - so you have to check the members area because with my schedule it may be short notice!!!!
Finally, the last piece of news is that if we can’t get the chat done V will be posting up some longer videos for you once he gets his new computer ready that can work with the bigger files.

Why did you lower the photo resolution for this set? I grabbed the set from the site, and the pics are like HALF the size of your regular pics. Please tell me you aren’t lowering your resolution.

I dl the zip and the pics are in the 972 kb to 1.6 mb - 1440- 2160. They look great to me. They are the same size in the gallery. Maybe i will dl again to see if anything changed?

Not sure what issue you are having “why” but if you are a member then the pics you downloaded were the full 2160×1440 just like any other set I post. You must be looking at the file size NOT the resolution. Some of the sets with the smaller logo end up with a smaller output size when the JPG files are rendered. This set, however, almost every image is bigger than 1 MB so I am not sure if you are looking at the current set.
In any event no matter which way I render the images are still high resolution images that look great on my 1920×1200 HDMI monitor and my 1280 x 1024 VGA monitor.

Another stunning set! I no doubt at all the sets will get even hotter, but they are fantastic now. I will keep my membership as long as you offer it. Have you thought about the private set idea yet?

Here is the latest update from “theplanet” - apparently they are still trying to fix the datacenter so we can’t get the update published until they do because the entire server is down. Will be back on as soon as we can!

As you know, we have vendors onsite at the H1 data center. With their help, we have created a list of equipment that will be required, and we are already dealing with those manufacturers to find the gear. Since it is Saturday night, we do have a few challenges.
We are prioritizing issues as follows:
Getting the network up at H1 is first and foremost. We are pulling components from our five other data centers including Dallas which will be an all-night effort.
Getting power back to the data center is key, though it is too early to establish success there.
Because ServerCommand is in H1, our legacy EV1 customers are blinded about this incident. We are in the process of moving the ServerCommand servers to other Houston data centers so that we are able to loop them into communications.
We absolutely intend to live up to our SLA agreements, and we will proactively credit accounts once we understand full outage times. Right now, getting customers back online is the most critical.

sounds like they dropped the ball for all the people on there network servers. You need a ups to carry the load until the back up generators come online. Sounds like they were unprepared for any type of outage. Just venting i realize that there is nothing V or monika can do in this situation, except wait for there servers to come back online.

Here is the latest update, they have not given any time frame for bringing things up. Really sorry but the update is ready as soon as the server is up!
Dear Valued Customers:
This evening at 4:55 in our H1 data center, electrical gear shorted, creating an explosion and fire that knocked down three walls surrounding our electrical equipment room Thankfully, no one was injured. In addition, no customer servers were damaged or lost.
We have just been allowed into the building to physically inspect the damage. Early indications are that the short was in a high-volume wire conduit. We were not allowed to activate our backup generator plan based on instructions from the fire department.
This is a significant outage, impacting approximately 9,000 servers and 7,500 customers. All members of our support team are in, and all vendors who supply us with data center equipment are on site. Our initial assessment, although early, points to being able to have some service restored by mid-afternoon on Sunday. Rest assured we are working around the clock.
We are in the process of communicating with all affected customers. we are planning to post updates every hour via our forum and in our customer portal. Our interactive voice response system is updating customers as well.
There is no impact in any of our other five data centers.
I am sorry that this accident has occurred and apologize for the impact.

Thats funny , a high volume wire condiut. I think he meant a high voltage wire condiut. for the whole gear to explode and not just the breaker, doesnt look good. The fire marshall can close the whole building down if he thinks its not safe.I hope thay got good insurance this outage is going to cost them millions!!!

OK everything is back up and the update is up and posted. There is a new pic set and a new video of my 04/04 chat that is only part 1 of the chat. The new video is in windows player format since so many people had trouble with the other ones. Thanks for being patient while the server room was fixed.
